The Calvert County Watermen's Association is holding the Annual Watermen's Festival and Boat-Docking Competition on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at the Watermen's Wharf in Solomons, Maryland. This family-oriented event features a boat docking contest. Watermen from around the state compete for trophies and cash prizes while. thrilling the spectators as they race to dock and tie their workboats. This event is an opportunity for watermen and the community to connect. The Calvert County Watermen's Association is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, and the success of the Festival is largely dependent upon the support of our donors. As such, we are soliciting your tax- deductible support for this year's Festival. We would be grateful for any donation amount; no amount is too small. Additionally, we are looking for prize donations for our children's anchor and buoy throwing competition. Items can include gift cards or business advertising items.
